Window View

Oil on window (reverse painting on glass) with carving, handmade and found objects, carved and painted wood panel. "Window View" refers to the picture plane. It depicts a scene outside my studio window and the imagining of the metaphysical drive to the "city in the sky". Art historical references include the Surrealists in general and magritte in particular. Window--49" x 48".
