The “Eyes Are the Windows to the Soul…” is a body of narrative paintings in oil. The recognizable subject, and the design and construction of the painting come together to form a presentation of what appears to be a discernible scene, primarily of children and families in their local, suburban landscape.  The scene is of a known saying, and the colors used are often those linked with the objects they depict.  In this way these are “cliché paintings”, not meant to be ironic, as much as to be associative.
